Feature
Shady areas with moist soil.
10 - 15 cms.
Spring. Flowers and leaves die in early Summer.
Purple blue flowers.
Herbalists in the Middle Ages used Anemone blanda as treatment for gout and headaches but due to it's toxicity it is no longer used. Touching any part of the plant can result in 'Contact Dermatitis
