0.5 - 2.0 cms diameter.
0.5 - 1 mm diameter, 3 - 4.5 cms long.
June - November.
Although some field guides suggest that these little mushrooms may be edible, others express doubts. They are insubstantial and certainly not highly prized edibles.

When picking any fungus for consumption, caution should be exercised at all times.
