Feature:
 Forests with dispersed areas of grass, trees, and a variety of other vegetation.
Bucks: 40 - 160 cms. long, 85 - 95 cms. in shoulder height.
Does: 130 - 150 cms. long, 75 - 85 cms. in shoulder height.
Ruminants,  surviving on plant based foods.
Breeding season usually occurs in the second half of October.
Usually one fawn is born; twins are rare.
