Feature:
Forests with dispersed areas of grass, trees, and a variety of other vegetation.
Bucks: 40–160 cm long, 85–95 cm in shoulder height.
Does: 130–150 cm long, 75–85 cm in shoulder height.
Ruminants,  surviving on plant based foods.
Breeding season usually occurs in the second half of October.
Usually one fawn is born; twins are rare.
