From easternmost Europe to
the Russian Far East. Bare Scrape on the ground. Small invertebrate items picked off the mud. Long fine bill and very long yellowish legs. It is greyish brown in breeding plumage, paler in winter, and has a white wedge up its back that is visible in flight. 22 - 26 cms. 55 - 59 cms. 3 - 5 Off - white, pinkish, or pale green and speckled with brown. |
