Found in deciduous woodland, mainly under beech trees. 
4 - 10 cms.
Diametet: 1 - 2.5 cms. Tall: 3 - 8 cms.
August - October.
The Pale Milkcap is reported by some to be edible when cooked, although other sources list it as inedible because sometimes these mushrooms have a very hot taste.


When picking any fungus for consumption, caution should be exercised at all times.
