Common in waste ground and edges of fields especially near the shore.
April - June.

Yellow-green in colour, and its fruits are black
120-150 cms.
Intermediate in flavour between celery and parsley. Once used in many dishes, but  now replaced by celery. The Romans brought it with them to eat the leaves, stems,  roots, and the buds.
