Flowers in the Spring. Berries appear in the Autumn.
1 - 2 mts tall.
There is a 1000 year history of the Bilberry being used in European medicine. Herbal suppliments are used in easing circulatory problems,as vision aids and in the treatment of diarrhoea. In cooking it is used in the same recipies as the American Blueberry, though the wild Bilberry versions are said to be better.
