Common Flower Bug Taken at Belhaven Bay on 20th August 2017 using Panasonic Lumix LX5 in macro mode. Common Flower Bug. Species: Order: Family: Anthocoris nemorum. Hemiptera. Anthocoridae. Adult Food: Length: Description: Habitat: Flies/Found: Feature: Mainly greenfly and red spider mites. 3 - 4 mm. Reflective forewings and black pronotum. The legs are mostly orange-brown. Lower vegetation than trees,  especially nettles. All year. Capable of biting humans.
