Damp habitats, water margins, wet ditches, marshes and wet meadows. August - September. Up to 18 inches Pulicaria comes from the Latin pulex, a flea, because it was said to drive away these pests, and the second Latin name refers to another supposed property, namely, the cure of dysentery. |
