One of our most ancient folk-medicines, Musk Mallow was once used in cough mixtures. Its name derives from it's musky scent, which is only noticable when the flowers are picked and brought indoors. Due to its large attractive flowers, it is a wild flower which some gardeners are happy to have in their flowerbeds
