In a burrow on islands and coastal cliffs
around Great Britain and Ireland.
Small fish , crustaceans, cephalopods and surface offal.
It is silent at sea, but at night the breeding colonies
are alive with raucous cackling calls.
It has long straight slim wings, and is black above and white below.
30–38 cm
76–89 cm .
One white egg.
