10 - 15 mm.
Waste ground and in hedgerows and gardens where Common Nettle grows.
May - October depending on the location.
Known in China, Russia, Korea, Japan, Afghanistan, Europe, the Canary Islands, Madeira and  Asia Minor. In 2013 it was reported to be present in Canada.
