parkland, on lawns and along woodland edges (but not in woodland).

Ovoid at first, becoming convex or bell-shaped, then flat

Inedible. Some sources suggest that these mushrooms may contain
psychoactive substances, in which case they should be treated as being
toxic and potentially dangerous.
When picking any fungus for consumption,
caution should be exercised at all times.
