A shallow depression, on high ground, lined with plant material and may be reused from year to year. Breeding grounds are in Greenland, Canada, Alaska, and the northeastern tip of Siberia,
Left-over grain in fields.
The snow goose has two color plumage morphs, white (snow) or gray/blue (blue), thus the common description as "snows" and "blues". The White-morph birds are all white except for black wing tips.
