In deciduous broadleaf woodland, usually in quite large groups.
3- 5 cms diameter.
3 - 6 mm diameter, 4 - 9 cms long.
Summer - Late Autumn.
Entoloma rhodopolium is definitely not one for the pot. Some Entoloma species, Entoloma sinuatum, for example are known to have caused several deaths.


When picking any fungus for consumption, caution should be exercised at all times.
